Love your writing! I don't eat any of the fake stuff though. Low-fat, sugar-free (ie fake sugar) etc. I'm on a Mediterranean style diet which is lots of vegetables and some fruit, medium protein and healthy fats like olive oil and full-fat yoghurt (which I make myself). All real food, very little processed. It's working so far!

I feel like this post just totally proved your statement about being extraordinarily ordinary suuuuper wrong! Love the humor, love your attention to detail, love your ability to reflect on yourself - I don't even know you and I feel like we could be friends... I too went through the "to do the diet bet or not to do the diet bet... let's drink wine and think about it more..." debacle. Most of all... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of saying you want to be proud of yourself when it's time to go to bed. What a GREAT way to remind yourself to take it one day at a time. I have SUCH a hard time with being results driven... and could probably down a bottle or two of wine deciding whether or not to step on the scale today, haha! That damn evil scale... Thanks for the post and great view on how to stay on track! I'm going to try it myself! Can't wait to hear more from you! :D

I love the Black Mamba reference. That movie is soo funny. This is my first dietbet challenge and your post was very informative from the standpoint of what you should do to give yourself better odds and that's to be connected. I'll be keeping an eye on ya....but not in a creepy stalker way. lol.
