First off - writing this is a great way to both cry out for help & support as well as therapeutic to let it out. I too am on the obese side of the scale...I joined Sept 8 & made a commitment to myself & myself alone. I have written a blog each day as I would like to give these to my family one day to show them that I did it.No one can make you do it...it has to come from within...BUT, I can tell you that working hard for yourself is the best payoff. My motto is "be the turtle"...slow & steady & keep a positive attitude. That is key....if your mind is negative, it will reflect. Challenge yourself with baby steps...I am proof that it works...Since Sept 8th I am down 17lbs. I have worked hard & it does pay off but you need to commit...YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! I never thought I was worth it & I would have every excuse out there as well but once you see 1lb come off, you'll get so excited...it is a snow ball affect...YOU GOT THIS!!! NO more excuses...YOU ARE WORTH IT...remember that & if you have a bad day - don't beat yourself up. The beautiful thing is that every day is a new day...chin up!We, your DietBetter family is here for you ready to cheer you on...write every small victory because they are yours & believe it or not, overweight or not, everyone is in the same boat at some point...I'm rootin for ya!

I say if they can tailor the program for your disabled son, then they can surely do the same for you. Go back to cross fit! But in reality, 80% is diet. Eat better and you'll loose weight, no worrying about carving out extra time to workout. I lost my first 20lbs barely exercising. I was just eating better, and still now, when I get off course, if I just start eating right again, it comes back down. You don't have to go crazy right this second. Try to switch one bad diet thing out a day.. Snacking on bad stuff at night?msnack on good stuff at night. Getting fast food between all those kid shufflings? Throw something in the crock pot in some of those days where you aren't racing off at the butt crack of dawn.. Or pick something that is healthier from the menu.. No matter how much you want the fries. Lol but bottom line, you have to want it. Just like any drug addict, you won't get better unles you want to get better.. No amount of money will motivate you. Make one good choice today. Right now. It will naturally lead to more good choices. Good luck.
