I used to feel like you did, but I no longer think it's drastic when compared to the drastic nature that eating meat does to our health, our environment, & our economy. The idea that it's drastic relates only to the sensory withdrawal of our comfort zone. People could say that going sober or quitting cigarettes cold turkey is drastic, but they don't b/c they identify that these are habits that need to be eliminated. There's value in placing one's own health & planet above the satisfaction of one's own palate. You should be applauded for daring to take on such a journey. I find I can get 2 different weights on my own scale by stepping on and stepping off! Is there a way to calibrate the scale (s)? Maybe weigh in on both every day and see if the variance changes...Good luck!
