Hi guys! I'm Aimee, a married mom of 2 in Redding, CA. I'm doing my weight loss journey completely different than I've ever done in my life. I've always gone up and down since I was about 16. I've done all the diets, supplements, pretty much everything you can think of except for pharmaceuticals. This time around, I'm trying to do something more sustainable where I don't get burned out and I enjoy the process. I'm using myfitnesspal and I'm giving myself between 1500 and 1700 calories per day. I'm focusing on protein, Fiber, Whole Foods and listening to my body. If i want a cookie or ice cream, i do it. Im eating what I want as long as it fits within those parameters. So far, this year I've lost 15 pounds. This is totally sustainable for me, I dont feel miserable or deprived like i have in the past, and I think tracking is something I can do for the rest of my life. The only exercise I'm really doing is walking a lot, I also plan on re-evaluating after my cut phase, and doing a few weeks of a higher amount of calories to figure out where my maintenance level is. Once I get down to my goal weight, I will definitely work on building where muscle, but for right now I'm just trying to get the weight off through nutrition and walking. It's been working great and this is my 3rd dietbet of the year! Good luck everyone!
