So what happens if I lose?

It's hard to quiet that negative a**hole in your brain that tells you that you aren't good enough. I struggle with that everyday. I too had a bad day or two the last few days. My son's birthday was today so of course there was cake!. I calorie tracked like mad and was prepared to have a piece in my calorie range....but it tasted sooo good. I had a bit more than planned ;-) . Commence kicking myself about it. It was a good reminder of why I don't eat like that anymore. I felt gross after. But I have to remind myself that tomorrow is a new day and sometimes it takes a little fall to make us get up again and try harder. Thank you for your blog today!

I had to bake a cake for my father-in-law's birthday on Friday and I fell back into my habit of eating the batter and the frosting as I baked. That plus the actual cake and birthday dinner put me way over my calorie goal for the day. I felt bummed about it then "talked" it over with one of the DietBet community groups and felt so much better. I got back on track the very next meal and I'm down a 1 lb since Friday.
