So what happens if I lose?

Over time I'm getting better at being kinder to myself. I forget sometimes, but I'm making progress. It's so much easier for me to bounce back from indulgent eating if I don't beat myself up about it as the sense of failure can start a downward spiral. I can't imagine having someone else pointing it out as well! One meal, one day, is NOT the end of the world. This is a lifestyle change, not a diet, so things will happen, it's how you deal with them and let them go that will make the difference. Drink a lot of water today and get some exercise, even if it's just a walk. You'll feel a million times better about yourself when you show yourself that you can overcome this and anything else that comes your way.

Thanks LilyN. It doesn't help that I've been working long hours for a month. I'm tired and it's too dark/cold to walk outside which is what I like to do. I'm off to use my elliptical machine. I appreciate your support.
