Awesome NSV! Hey - it's your wedding, wear what makes YOU feel good! There are plenty of jacket styles that cinch in the waist or maybe you can find a belt to go over to enhance or create the shape you are looking for. As I'm sure your sister knows, tailoring a piece can make all the difference in the way a garment flatters someone. (Has she done work for anyone plus size before? it's quite different to how one would make alterations for a slim body type)
