Yey, we made it to another Friday!  And, as a reward for it being Friday I have decided NOT to weigh today, especially since I did my photo weigh in for the new game yesterday anyway.  I'm giving myself a break from the scales today, not from the diet of course, just the scales.

Reading some comments on the games pages I think that some people are worried they are not going to make the weight requirements of their games in 10 or so days.  That is a worry, but cheer up, it's still like 10 days and your weight can do a lot of things by then.  A plateau can break, it really can.  Last year I lost a lot of weight and I had a lot of plateaus, one of them was over 3 weeks.  No matter what I did that number would not budge on the scales.  Finally, it did and then it dropped like 5 pounds.  So, it is possible.  Of course, if you have been indulging for the whole time, I don't have any ideas for that one. LOL.

Yesterday we tried out the "theatre" exercise room at the gym.  It was awesome.  It was pretty dark so I had a bit of a problem figuring out all the controls on the treadmill, but eventually I did.  So, I was on the treadmill "really moving" for over an hour but I was watching the movie so it went pretty quickly.  That is definitely the way to get through treadmill sessions.  The sound was up loud (acoustics were good), the picture took up the whole front wall and it was dark.  My Mom was in the front row on an exercise bike and I was in the last row (there were 4 rows of machines I think) on a treadmill that I could set for a large incline.  I think from now on, that is going to be where we are headed.  If I could just get them to play Star Wars! :)

So, after the treadmill we did our "usual" which was in the pool, this time for about a 1/2 hour.  Mom and I like swimming anyway, but it also a good way to work out the stiffness from the treadmill.  Then in the sauna, it was wonderful.  A bit of shopping, stopping for petrol and home where I had a protein drink for lunch with TWO coffee K-cups in it!  I think I needed the caffeine.

So, now it's time to face another day with it's little challenges.  I wish everybody great success today and it's day 19, yey.  For those that have "been good", I will cross fingers that the plateau breaks, for those that haven't "been good" most of the time, well I don't know what to say.  Hang in there, tomorrow is another day.

Later, Denise
