Last Monday, I had an MRI done of my lower back, and on Thursday, I got my results. My doctor told me that I have bulging discs, narrowing of my spinal canal, and arthritis. He told me that I don't have to have surgery. He recommends that I continue getting physical therapy, lose weight, and exercise. He even gave me a prescription for Tylenol with Codeine for the pain. I took one last night, and not only did it NOT take away the pain, I coughed all night, and now I have to deal with this groggy feeling due to lack of sleep. NO WAY BABY!!! THAT'S NOT FOR ME!!! THAT STUFF HAS GOT TO GO!!! LOL!!! And getting an epidural is out of the question!!! LOL!!!

Since I know I'm limited to what I can do as far as exercising is concerned, I thought about doing 30-second sprints with 30 seconds of walking, and GUESS WHAT??? I DID IT!!! WOOHOO!!! I did 4 sets, & I'm sooo proud of myself!!! I couldn't do more than that because right now my back is in charge, & the pain reminded me to take it easy & CHILL!!! LOL!!! It's all good though. At least I put forth an effort to do something. Baby steps, right???
