I found out about DietBet recently and with my strong competitive side and increase in weight, I thought I would give it a try. I decided to try both a kickstarter and a transformer, but I am quite apprehensive that my normal yo-yo weight habits will kick in. Over the last few years, I have a habit of losing weight over the summer and then once I went back to college, I slowly got everyone of those pounds back. I eat an overall healthy diet and I am quite active, I just have a habit of once in a while having two or three bad days where I eat horribly and see the scale go up. Then I resume my normal maintence periods, maintaining the weight gain. Whenever I decide to lose weight, I see a drop on the scale during the week, but end up ruining it over the weekend...

I am nervous of losing to cravings or weekend binges or even getting stuck in plateaus that led me to give up on my weight loss journey.

 

Does anyone have any tips or any advice to getting through these dietbet's and getting that 4% or 10% off? I feel like I will start off strong in week 1, but once I hit a plateau, I will fail at reaching the 4% number.
