End of Week 2 on DietBet.

 

This was a pretty good week. I didn't quite get all the workouts I planned in, but I did something every day. More importantly, I am on day 14 of a no-binge streak! I haven't made it two weeks in a long, long time. 

My first week on DietBet, I lost 4.5 lbs. This week I've only lost .5 lbs. This isn't really surprising. It always happens this way. I drop a bunch of weight immediately and then it comes off more slowly. But it is frustrating because I've been doing a good job of staying within the calories I've alloted for myself, while continuing to eat a low-carb diet, focusing on real food. I know I'm being healthy. I'm probably just not creating enough of a calorie deficit, because my calorie intake is still over 2000 and I'm not doing big, long, intense workouts. 

But I'm going to keep going this week the same way and see where it puts me. My body may just need a little while to catch up, or I may need to adjust my calorie balance. I just don't want to do it too quickly or I may put myself in a situation where I feel deprived and start bingeing. Next Sunday, I'll see where the week has taken me and lower my calorie budget by 100-200 a day if I need to. 

Goals for the week:

(1) Continue logging everything on MyFitnessPal. Stay within my calorie range and make sure you're doing it by eating real food. 

(2) Continue drinking 3 Nalgenes worth of water a day. (This is easy. It's so hot!)

(3) Work out 4 days and have at least 2 workouts burn over 500 calories. I think this should be easy with Flex Pass classes starting next week. RU Fit and Spinning should kick my a**.
