This is one of the most insane accounts of how people perform surgery. Sounds like they did not believe you - but they did?!? I know that it is tough to get smokers to sleep through anestesia, but I assume you don't smoke?!? Did they figure out what on earth is causing this?!? I just looked up a few articles and they say that this causes PTSD and they should provide counseling for sure. Did they offer that at all? That's the least they could give you! Sending prayers and lots of bright sunlight!
