Thanks ladies, I know the information seemed a little off. I was thinking that maybe they were trying to take the focus off the weight loss and put it on the health side of the journey, which I get. I just really didn't like the fact that it was like a black and white answer. I have had a conversation with my nurse practitioner about the program and she did say that people will gain back the weight in about 10 years but in my mind I believe that the reason is there was no mind set change. If you don't change the way you think then you can't change your eating habits. I know I have made some great changes. I also know I still have some work to do and that I will not be prefect but as I have seen in the last little while it isn't about perfection, it is about progress.
