What What!  So after a workout of 50 stair runs up and down yesterday I looked online and found out the empire state building has 103 floors.  So, I just completed 113 stair runs; all I have to say is that sucked :P

Today is a low carb day.  As usual I started my day off with 4 egg whites and a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal mixed with some splenda and vanilla extract.  Lunch has been a plain nonfat greek yogurt with 3 stevia packets, 30 snap peas, and a tbsp of nature's promise all natural peanut butter.  My discovey on this pb stuff.....

So, when I first saw on carb cycling that I was allowed to have pb I was excited.  Then I saw that it had to be natural.  My first reaction (NO! eww)  I hated the way it tasted years ago and I thought the oil on the top was nasty.  Two days ago I mixed in the oil and had a tbsp.  Surprisingly it was stickier than jiff pb but still had a good taste.  Now, I'm a person that keeps their pb not in the fridge; however, it said on the packaging to put in the refrigerator after opening.  To my surprise today, the oil stays mixed in :)  And, I must say I love it!  I guess that was my inner being saying you don't like natural pb.

For those of you that read Chris Powell's first book for carb cycling you know that he has you name your machine (body).  Well my machine is named Olga.  I have a lot of German in my family and that name has always represented a mean old German woman.  So, I have to say I'm proud that I beat Olga.  I ran a lot, I ate natural pb :)  Happy girl over here.

This book was right, I'm not having any cravings any more...I'm enjoying life so much more.  Don't get me wrong I know as I get to Sunday I'm going to be excited for my cheat day, but I'm no longer obsessing over food.  Just three weeks ago I was thinking about food all the time and actually looking online at it constantly.  It's odd I've been that way all my life due to calorie restrictions and dieting: this new life style is where its at.  I can't believe I'm probably a week away from seeing the 120's.  Holy crap!  I'm so happy and excited that I found these sites and especially took the leap of faith and turned to carb cycling as a lifestyle rather than a "diet".
