Feel better soon-- Adrienne has it right! You can do this wo killing yourself

Is there a hot tub somewhere you can sit it for a long time? Most places with pools have hot tubs. If you don't have a gym or Y, check into hotels. We have a local hotel you can swim at for $4 or $5 and they have a hot tub. Worth a try. Good luck.

Kim, I can definitely understand how you feel. This challenge is over in a couple a weeks, & you want to reach the finish line with flying colors!!! I'm with you on that!!! Please be careful & listen to your body. If you can handle the pain, then by all means, do your thang!!! I suffer with severe lower back pain due to 3 herniated discs. I push myself sometimes too, but then I end up suffering more in the long run if I'm not careful. Good luck & I'll see you at the finish line!!! WOOHOO!!! We can do this!!! :-)

I heard Chris once say the battle is won 80% in the kitchen and 20% in the gym. Please be careful and like Adrienne said listen to your body. Good luck!

This is easy for me to say since I have no self control during my lady days, but definitely focus on everything you mentioned and you'll be fine =) Now if that would only work for me! lol

How do you log? Most people swear by phone apps, but I find it much less time consuming to use a notebook and pencil! I weigh and measure, check to see what serving sizes are on packages and just write it down. Sometimes if a serving is say, 100g, but I only weigh out 78g then I just calculate it real quick on the calculator...or ask hubby...he's like Rainman w/ numbers, lol. If I don't log I tend to underestimate and eat too much. Play around and find something that works for you =)

I am pretty religious about logging, and weighting what I eat (I think that is SUPER key). I use my fitness pal, and I get into a routine where I eat the same things over and over so it keeps those stored, making it easier. If you're going to do intuitive eating, I would suggest getting a scale so you are sticking to portion sizes. That apple could be 3 servings of fruit if it is large enough! Good luck!

I love it when someone can make me laugh! Thanks for your Cali perspective... watching TV makes it seem so different than you describe ;o) I am also interested in the vegan lifestyle since I have recently been eating mostly plant-based, dairy-free, meat-free, low soy whole foods and I am loving the way I feel and look! I cannot bring myself to call myself a vegan or even a vegetarian since I am not guaranteeing that I won't eat meat sometime... just not for now.

I have noticed a big difference since giving up dairy for sure... I skipped ice cream last night in favor of a Yonanna and I love that I feel great rather than gross after eating it.
