So this goes off from my blog post yesterday about 'low carb' and these are some of the ways this journey is being made easier for me!

Firstly, we have a delivery service here called The Produce Box and it's a really cool service! They bring the farmer's market to your doorstep every Friday by delivering a box of fresh vegetables that have been harvested only 24-48hrs prior to being delivered. The produce is amazing and they also offer humanely raised meats and dairy as well as cage / crate free eggs. I LOVE this service! It's one I make use of every Friday to get my veggies for the week ahead.

There is another local business called The Fit Station. This operation specializes in clean food meals designed for weight loss that cater to low carb/paleo lifestyles. They offer great entrees like lean turkey/chicken/pork and seafood accompanied with veggies and/or sweet potatoes. They also make fabulous salads, 'pasta' using spaghetti squash and breakfasts like power pumpkin protein pancakes. These meals are usually less than the cost of take away.

Then there is Whole Foods which is literally 2 minutes away from my house. I have to be careful here sometimes because they do also sell A LOT of yummy desserts and cookies but this is my favorite place for lean 1% turkey, lean chicken breasts, shrimp, non-GMO dairy, organic fruit, avocado and condiments like dressings or stir fry sauce.

Having such abundance and convenience is starting to make this all a pleasure now that I'm getting over the fumbling of changing habits and being more accountable with food.

Feeling blessed :)
