...is not the easiest one." - Grandmother Willow, Pocahontas
Yesterday was good. It was a rest day, exercise-wise, after my 11K run on monday. I ate well, and nothing too special happend. One good news (at least for me^^): My parents are adopting a dog. And as they live really close nearby, I am really happy. :) It's a female dog. By the way: When you're not a native speaker, and you look up the word for "female dog" in the dictionary you get kinda surprised.
"Yeah, my parents got themselves a bitch!"
This just doesn't sound right for a person with limited knowledge of english. I didn't want to write that without any explanation. Hahaha
Today was not so great. I slept bad. I mean, really bad. I was lying awake for hours at night and couldn't fall asleep. I have this from time to time. And almost every time after a night like this, my dieting takes a hit. I feel mushy (I don't know if there's a better word to describe it) all day and don't get much done.
I stayed within my calorie count (~1900 kcal), but I practically had to skip breakfast (not intentional) and dinner (intentional) to do so (damn you, sweets!^^). I hope I will sleep better today. A good night's sleep is a totally underestimated part of a successful diet in my opinion.
Tomorrow is a running day again. I'm looking forward to that. There is just no way I'm going to lose this dietbet on the home stretch.
