Steady as a beating drum...that's kind of how I felt my first dietbet journey went off. It's midnight here in Germany, and when I wake up tomorrow, it'll probably already be "weigh-out time". So it's practically over.

Yesterday was monday, so like every week on monday I weighed myself. I lost 0.8kg in the past week, which is kind of "meh". I'm happy that I surpassed my goal weight by 0.7kg with two more days to go, but not super stoked with the absolute number for one week. On the other hand, there is almost nothing I could have done more this past week, so I will accept it.

Monday was great. I had some oatmeal with low fat yoghurt, an apple and a dash of honey for breakfast, I snacked half a honeydew melon during the day, had some rice and a lot of veggies for lunch and a tomato soup for dinner. I had table tennis practice in the evening were I sweated even more than usual (people totally underestimate sports like table tennis or badminton^^). No "daily sin". :)

Today was a tough day. I slept really great, but I was hungry ALL THE TIME. This is the third time within the four weeks this happened. I mean, I could have eaten constantly, which I did more or less. I snacked a lot of fruits and veggies in between meals, a yoghurt and a pack of cottage cheese with some slices of ham. I had my oatmeal with low fat yoghurt and fresh fruits for breakfast again, some pasta (100gr.) with eggs and broccoli for lunch and some leftovers for dinner.
I am still hungry, but I just forced myself not to eat anymore after dinner, because I think I'm already over my calorie budget for the day.
"Daily sin": 50gr. of licorice
On top of that, it was so stormy today, that I couldn't possibly run. And you should know by now, that I don't skip my runs ever, if it's not unavoidable. I will make up for it tomorrow.
So all in all, I am a little disappointed, that the last day was one of my weaker days, but "it's all one big session". And I would consider myself "steady as a beating drum" during those last four weeks. :)

When my "final weigh-in" is approved, I will join "Summer Slim with JJ and Blake" as my next dietbet.
