I totally agree with you. Processed foods are the worst. And I do think people eat too much protein in an unhealthy, fast food diet. My goal is to get my food intake to have that perfect ratio of protein, carb and fat. It is actually much more food then I normal eat. I feel stuffed by dinner time and eat half the meat protein at dinner then I used to. I have used hemp protein in the past and I liked it. I will start using it in my smoothies too. I don't like whey protein powders. They make me gag. I don't have troubles with dairy at all. But I don't really eat much of it anymore. so, you see? by talking about it here, we have influence. Even if it is a small influence, it is still positive! I like your influence! If you change your mind and choose to do another diet bet, let me know which one!

I agree that processed foods are what is killing America ! I am a medical scientist and I see a ton of bad things on a daily basis. I think maybe you are looking at this dietbet game different than its intended. The idea is just to promote motivation to change your life with whatever tools you wish. For me I have had a wonderful experience and what may work for me may not work for you . I personally have to stay away from a high carb diet because my body eats it up and turns it into fat. I hope you find what you are looking for on your journey to a healthier living. Good job on your success this far.

yes :) today is a 4 banana day. it's how i get my energy i guess without coffee :) My diet is high carb, low fat vegan so loads of fruits, veggies, beans, rice, potatoes.. As long as they are healthy carbs. Probably the only reason i can function lol

I think that's awesome! I don't focus on vegan or vegetarian, I just eat clean. I think after one learns to detox from years of horrible eating the desire and want to make your intake work for you becomes a bi-product of better living! How long have you been vegan?

I agree. I've been a vegetarian for 8 years and a vegan for about 1 year. It just works so well for me and my body. It got rid of so many health issues (weight, migraines, diabetes). But i'm not against eating occasional meat for other people, just not me. (my kids still eat meat, just no dairy/eggs). At the end of the day, as long as we stop eating processed food, that's what's ruining our health..
