Realistically I’m not making it this time. But, I have gotten back into recording calories, portioning by weight, and trying to drink more water. It’s a nsv but I’ll take it! When we began this challenge I initially gained a few pounds, the heaviest I’ve EVER been. This past week I dropped 5 lbs. I’ll keep on keeping on and hopefully next challenge I’ll be on track! I already feel like I’m falling behind. 😞 I’ve exercised more than I was, and eating better than I was, but not seeing the scale move.

Keep up the good work!!! Don’t get discouraged. Consistency is key. It’s a trial and error for your body. Sometimes more exercise isn’t what you need. May just need to adjust food and calories. One thing that worked for me was just tracking everything I eat. Weigh food. It’s a pain but man did it help me in the start. Up protein. Don’t need to make it huge but if you normally get 20 grams make it 50 and try to aim for it.
You’ll get it!!!! Don’t get discouraged.

Like the others said, you shouldn't expect to see results immediately. Usually, when people lose a lot early on, it's water weight.

Try cutting out all alcohol, juices, and soft drinks, including diet sodas. Drink water instead.
