I didn’t win this round either. Congratulations to those who have been consistently dropping pounds and winning rounds! Looks like there are many of us struggling to get rid of the weight so at least I know I’m not alone.

I’m not giving up. I doubt I will win round 5 but I plan on being at least to the 6% so I can still compete in the final round to try and win some of my money back (the only round I won was the first one). And I’m determined to 2026 will be the year I get down to a healthy weight!

I'm also struggling to get the scale to go down (and the holidays definitely haven't helped!)

Here's to hoping that we can both make some good progress over the next two months!

We are going to make the 6%.

Knee replacement surgery is CANCELLED! I really do not have time to stay home and recuperate. They are still bone on bone and there are some things I can't do like walk downhill and kneel on the ground but there is no more pain and no more limping or cane. I am in the books on a quarterly basis so I can reactivate the surgery referral if the restrictions get too annoying or the pain comes back. The Osteo said the improvement is 100% due to the 40 pounds I have lost since July and for that I thank DietBet.

Wow! Thats huge news!! Congrats

I’m really happy for you. I had knee surgery in September, and it’s great when you can avoid it.

Unfortunately, I’m not able to weigh in this round. I had a major knee surgery last week and can’t stand properly yet. I’m ready for the second round.

If you think this game is going to be too rough for your condition, reach out to customer service. They were very understanding when I was in a similar position.

I just started today so this first round will be a short one for me. That means no cheat meals this month!

I’m doing mostly Whole Foods, cooking at home, eliminating the bad carbs, no sweets, and lean protein (lots of vegetables). I’m a bit challenged on the workout front but have a plan and will be logging everything in Fitbit to hit my daily calorie deficit.

What is everyone else doing to reach their goal this round?

Hi. Due to medical reasons I’m doing Whole Foods and minimally processed as possible. Even learning to make mustard!

I’m limited on what i can eat (long boring details) but enough variety that i won’t get bored.

Finally up for exercise again and have started back with that last week

It does seem like quite a slog sometimes. I travel with a fraternal group that loves their food so I am leaving early and arriving late to avoid the heavy pot luck meals and desserts. Surprisingly, the 3 people I ride with seem relieved to have me as an excuse to avoid the comfort food feasts.
