I saw your post about being off your diet for a month & still being low weight-wise. I feel your pain/confusion. I've been searching for the right combination/type of food/exercise for a few years.

I'm no expert, but beware the danger of only focusing on calories in -- calories out & losing weight. The quality of the food is important, too... but you won't see that till down the road when poor health hits. It's harder to repair damage from bad nutrition than to

Look at body tone, too. How clothes fit. How well are you sleeping. How alert are you during the day. The focus should never be to JUST lose weight... more to be healthier.

I recommend finding a full nutrition/fitness/wellness coach online if there is no one nearby. You can email, phone, skype & discuss your ups & downs & what works & what doesn't.
I paid for Premier Fitness coaching with a 12-week notebook & it was helpful. There are probably more affordable ones, though.

Thank you for you tips. I'm not really focused on cal in / out but I am :) Im really looking at overall activity level (within the last month I went back a couch potato, somewhat. I didnt think about it but I did get a new 10 week old puppy 2/3 weeks ago, so my running around has been in a different way. I didnt really consider that. ) But yes my clothes are fitting looser, i just found it so funny that I lost like 4/5lbs, not eating "healthy". But I do hear you regarding looking at the whole picture. I may look into a fitness coach either through my local dr/insurance or an online on. Thanks for the tips!
