To lift or not to lift? That is the question

Great post! I have not been doing weights, but would like to do them once I lose a bit more. Trying to get in a bootcamp class once a week at the Y, along with my regular 3x/week running and one yoga class. But maybe I should start adding actual weights?

Do you do cross fit, or straight weight training?


I combine a mixture of calisthenics with hiit and free weight exercises. I guess it's more similar in structure to structure to crossfit (not entirely too in the know on that :))
