I've gained about 10 lbs since the last Dietbet I was in ended on Sept 1st. I've had medication changes for psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. I've been in too much pain to exercise, barely getting through my work day. I've been down and negative. I couldn't control anything else so I let my diet go too. It could be a lot worse but I know I can do so much better. I'm still adjusting medications but I am going to try to be mindful of what I can control... diet decisions and moving more. The kitchen is 80% of weight loss so even if I can't exercise I still have control. Dietbet, fitbit and LoseIt hold me accountable. I won't be able to hit the 18,000 steps per day that I was getting but I can gradually make it back up to 12,000. I must get back in the game to improve my health. My favortie size 10 jeans are tight. My birthday is June 4th and I want to lose 20lbs by then which I think is reasonable. I'm worried the medications will continue to work against me but I must try. My goals are more modest than others and I have to accept the fact that my limitations will make progress slower than average. I can do this!!
