I thought there was controversy over the concept of a set point and whether you can reset it by keeping a low weight for 6 months??? When I was at my lowest adult weight, a friend told me all about set points, which landed on my ears as frenemy-ish given that I was celebrating a loss. I believe I will gain if I keep overeating, but my mind rebels at the idea of a set point!!
