Great blog Pam!!! I'm really proud of you for keeping a record of everything you do/eat!!! Journaling is a wonderful thing to do because it helps keep us accountable for our actions. Speaking of accountability, I weigh myself daily to keep myself accountable too. For instance, if I eat clean all day but don't consume enough water, I may see a gain on the scale the next day. (When we don't drink enough water, our body retains fluids.) Then, I'll reflect on what I did the day before & say: "Hey!!! I didn't drink enough water yesterday. Gotta up my water intake!!!" LOL!!! (Hardly ever happens though. I drink plenty of water!!! LOL!!!) Another example: If I went on vacation without my scale, I wouldn't know what damage I'm doing while I'm away. Taking my scale with me helps me make better conscious decisions of what to eat in case I see a gain the day after overindulging in all that good, forbidden food/drinks the day before. See my point??? Whatever you decide, I wish you the best!!! :-)

I feel so crazy about my scale I have two. Now if I'm nervous about what the wireless one is gonna say I take out the regular one and weigh on that one first. If I don't get the number I think I should see I grab another scale as if I will tell me something different. I stand on it different placing my feet in different spots. I think I'm losing it. I only weigh in the morning when I wake up after the restroom. LOL just nuts but I see you point I just got to get a place where I don't get nuts about it.

LOL!!! Pam, I can understand where you're coming from!!! LOL!!! Girl, the only time I get crazy with the scale is when I have to submit my weigh-in. Sometimes, I'm right at goal, but the scale is ACTING UP!!! I think the scale is POSSESSED!!! CAN A SISTA GET A SEANCE!!! LOL!!! Nowadays, what I try to do is have a little cushion so that I don't get stressed if it shows a gain from the day before. That helps keep me SANE!!! LOL!!! And if I'm not close to my goal, I don't worry about it!!! This is a lifestyle change, & we're gonna slip up from time to time. I didn't make my goal in my last challenge that ended today, but IT'S ALL GOOD!!! I knew spending time with my family in SC for 2 weeks would set me back, but I don't have any regrets!!! I HAD A BLAST, but now, I'm back on track!!! Always remember: We're striving for progression; not perfection!!! :-)
