Well said! Is your log on paper or on your computer? I think logging would be good for me. I lack the daily discipline to write it all down. I'm trying to figure how to do it quickly and efficiently. Any advice?

Thank you for mentioning the spreadsheet. The past week I've been tranferring information from My Fitness Pal into Excel so I can look for trends in weight loss. My family thinks I'm nuts. I'm trying to figure out the sweet spot of just enough calories (or protein, carbs, fat grams) and just enough exercise for me to lose weight consistently each week. This may be wishful thinking but it has been insightful.I've been dieting for 12 months and have had too many plateaus. My body doesnt follow the basic dieters math of a 3500 calorie deficit equals a lost pound of fat. I'm either overexercising or undereating, or something. I know I'm not overeating, drinking alcohol, or eating processed foods. Sigh.Everybody loses weight differently and it is important to analyse and reanalyze what works. I have to keep my body guessing to lose any weight but the challenge of Dietbet gets me into 4th gear.
