...or learn from it” – Rafiki, Lion King

So yesterday was a bad day, really bad.
I only slept for 2 hours from tuesday to wednesday (I have problems falling asleep somewhat often) and was pretty tired and powerless throughout the whole day. Skipped breakfast, but food choices were still good all in all. I went to table tennis practice in the evening and pedometer said 8200 for the day. So far, so good, until 8:30 p.m. ...
So, practice was over and some friends and I decided to watch the game (starting 8:45 p.m.; soccer; european champions legue) together at my house.
Now let's play "good idea - bad idea".
Good idea: Watch a game with friends!
Bad idea: Have this:

for probably 1000kcal or more. Well, at least I don't drink, so no beer for me. That's a cold comfort still.
Controlling my environment (food-wise) works pretty good for me normally. It's a lot harder though when you try to be a good host. Last friend left my house at 2 a.m.
Good thing for once I only weigh myself once a week on mondays.
And here's the part where the Disney quote of the day comes into play: "Oh yes the past can hurt. But you can either run from it, OR lern from it."
Today was AWESOME!
You wanna know why? Because I knew I had to write this blog post. And I simply couldn't bear the idea of only writing something negative. I would have been too ashamed. So I had to make today great.
I had a plain jogurt an apple and an orange for breakfast. I made a vegetable stir fry with some rice (100gr.) and chicken breast (200gr.) for lunch. It was way too much though, so I ate half and had a second plate for dinner.
Total calories taken in today: ~1600. Daily sin: none (had more than enough yesterday).
I also did this today:

[X] happy
[X] stupid checklist
I really wanted to run more than 10K today, because I felt I had to make up for yesterday. Pedometer-Man showed up again today (13K steps, although I didn't even wear it the whole time). I hope I will sleep better today. :)
