...is most often not quitting!" - Walt Disney

So bad news first: I did strain my thigh muscle on saturday. So no running for now. But apart from that I'm doing really great. I feel good, I'm not that hungry and work out as hard as possible with my limitations (mostly upper body).

Yesterday was my personal weigh-in day (like every monday), and the scale said 79.8kg, so 0.5kg lighter than last monday. Well, a loss is a loss. I'm just not too excited about it and the fact that I can't run now, doesn't increase hope of losing weight faster. Therefore I cut my calories down to ~1500kcal a day which works better than expected. I eat loads of veggies. :D

Today I worked out really hard, doing a "P90X Kenpo" workout. Well, kind of. I was changing some kicking parts I wasn't able to do, to some more punching. I had two T-Shirts that were soaked with sweat in the end, which made me really happy.

As I'm not able to run at the moment, I looked at some "Runtastic" statistics: In the first 40 days since I started my first dietbet, this is how far I've come:

I'm actually really proud of this. Over 15 hours of running and over 160km (over 100 miles for you americans^^) in less than 6 weeks. And I remember my first run very well. It was not long and not fast. xD And I was really really tired afterwards. So when my thigh feels better I will absolutely continue running. :)

My next dietbet ends thursday and I have to weigh-out at 79.4kg. BUT my weekend wasn't too great (salty stuff, some water weight maybe), so I think I still have a shot at winning. And like the great Walt Disney said: "The difference between winning and losing is most often NOT QUITTING!". So I'm going to keep killing myself those next two days and just see what happens. :)

No RETREAT - NO SURRENDER!
