For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

So annoyed! Made my goal and then some! Weighted in yesterday am and took all the pics but the full body because my husband didn’t get home until late at night. Took the full body holding my 9 months old because she was having a bad night and screaming bloody muder. I got the message that my the baby pic was rejected and I am now at work and can’t retake the pictures!! Which is nuts cause a baby would only add weight.

I don't bother having someone else take the picture anymore. Just do a selfie where they can see your face, feet, and scale. I haven't had any problems with that.


Don't give up on dietbet it's really motivational. The rules also state you can't lose more than 12 % or have weight loss surgery during the game. Holding things is going to block the view of you. Just take it as lesson learned and read the rules. You also have to wear something similar to the weigh in. You can get a full length mirror and take the picture. The rules don't state u can't hold a baby but it does say the pic needs to be approved.

So I signed up for diet bet the day after my 35th birthday because I was frustrated at not losing any of my baby weight post delivery. I was also overwhelmed with tiredness taking care of a toddler, home making, keeping up a legal practice from home... all without help from anyone. So I haven't been eating on time or eating well... getting gastritis attacks & so many obesity related health issues. It was high time to make a change.

Feeling ecstatic today.... lost 9.2lb last month & met my goal today.

Just wanted to share with busy moms out there... I actually didn't workout AT ALL (My baby fell ill & I had some other work related issues, so couldn't find the energy or time).

Instead this is what I did:
Ate all my meals before 5pm
Oatmeal for breakfast
Avoid cake, chocolate, pastries as far as possible
Deep breathing exercises 20min before going to sleep
Sleep by 11.30pm
Drink Water 4L a day

Initially I couldn't do all of the above together. So I added one habit per week. I started with drinking 4L water during first week. Once I achieved that, I added another habit of eating before 5pm the next. And so on.

Slow & steady does win the race. I learned a lot from this experience. Thanks diet bet!

My first one to miss. Bum. Two days ago I only had one pound left, but the cycle I'm on seems to put me in a 3 pound difference every few days. I have another ending tomorrow. Hope that final pound is gone by morning.

It explains in the description that the game is finalized 24-36 hours after the game ends because they have to make sure everyone, who submitted their winning pictures, are reviewed and accepted. So it could be the 18th or 19th.
