How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • A lot of you made your goal weight and that's amazing! Wonderful job to all our winners! But even if you didn't quite make it, you all are still winners! You guys are trying to make a change in your life for the better and that's always a win! There are so many non-scale victories. Try to focus on all your wins, no matter how big or small, it really helps to stay excited and motivated. NAILED IT! I joined next month's one too (http://dbet.me/nyxaln). I've got to keep this momentum going! I have family coming into town in October right before the final weigh-in. This will help me stay on track while there will be a lot of dining out.

  • did hour of Zumba and 35 min jog yesterday. Completed my run bet too. Did an extra 30 min run today to hit goal! just waiting for approval! I'm so skinny! weird to have this new tiny body?

I started a high dose of steroids yesterday and my weight popped UP two rather than the down I needed. But I still weigh less than when I started! Enjoy your winnings!!

What a close call it has been...phew!...Thank you for a challenging game..didn’t have time to submit regular weigh ins but tried to stay on top of my diet..my relationship with food is certainly still in a transitional stage but I will get there..thank you to all who shared tips and most importantly their stories.😍..kept me motivated to strive on😘

I don't think I'll make it. The scale will tell in the morning. But I am very, very thankful anyway for the encouragement of doing the DietBet because now my weight is at least headed in the right direction! I'm down about 6 pounds - hooray!! Maybe the last bit will come off overnight.

    Today is the last day of our game. Starting at 12:00 AM PST on September 20, our weigh-in time frame begins. You'll have 48 hrs. to submit your final weigh-in, which means you'll have until 11:59 PM PST on Friday.

Simple stuff like not eating between meals, not buying any sweets to have around the house to tempt me. Today I think the heat helped because I played tennis and probably sweated off that last pound or two and made my weight by 1/2 a pound!
