    Here's mine and it's a bit of a personal one;

    One of the main things that keeps me motivated is the absolute fear of ever going back to my life before. I was so depressed and so physically unhealthy that I couldn't live a fulfilling life. I was constantly sick and publicly ridiculed. I genuinely put my heart out for anyone going through that. Another thing that motivates me is seeing the progress, like when i can lift a little bit heavier or run a little bit longer. It's addicting. And lastly, all my followers and fans motivate me, because I never want to let them down and I want to set a positive example that it's possible to completely change your life around, mentally, physically and spiritually

  • What is motivating to me right now is the recent death of a coworker. The week before I joined this challenge someone I worked with died suddenly of complications due to obiesity and the numerous medical conditions resulting from it. Today I had a situation at work which could have ended in more than just the sore muscles I will have if I don’t properly care for my body. Thanks to my fellow officers and the fact I can still hold my own no one was hurt. My life and my coworkers (one of which is my spouse) life depends on keeping myself healthy and strong

Remember when I posted about not allowing your weekend to be your weak end?
Well today I ate Starbucks, Indian food, and yogurt mill. I suck. Lol.
Tomorrow is a new day and I may or may not double day it at the gym! Water will definitely be my best friend for the next couple of days :)

I spent 50 minutes on the treadmill and have been slowly increasing my pace and duration of my workout. I have been lucky so far this week and have not had any mandatory overtime. I got grocery shopping in with good food to prepare for my breakfast and lunch that I take to work and dinner with my family. I made sure not to buy any snacks that might be tempting. My family chooses to buy them and eat them away from home to help support my efforts. While cooking dinner with husband, I was reflecting on my week. We have stopped eating out and have been cooking almost all of our meals and not out of packages and adding a lot of extra veggies to everything we make. I have tracked all of my food before I eat it and how eating this way I haven’t felt cheated (except the one day with cake at work lol) and have been able to eat what my family eats as long as I’m careful with my protion size and avoid junk food. This week has been a huge success for me and I am proud of myself for pushing myself and sticking to my goals. I just hope I am able to keep my motivation and meet my goals.
