How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

This was my first DietBet game and to be honest I’m quite disappointed, 51 cents is not worth the time I put into filling those journals and taking those proof pictures.

Lauren I did lose money, even tho I won DietBet chargers a $5 membership to let us play, so I lost $4.49Jen and StevenSteph, yes for many that the ultimate goal. For me it wasn’t, I lost over 100 lbs about 2 years ago and I did it without any of these, after some unfortunate events in my life I gain most of the wait back because I stopped trying. So I can lose it all over again (it is very easy if you really set your mind to it) without this extra motivation, so my main hola here was to make money, I’m already losing wait on my own so I wanted to get money. That’s all. So I agree with you guys that losing money is “worth it” if you lost a few pounds, it’s just different for me I guess.

Wait I just realized you might be agreeing with me StevenSteph and not with Jen like I initially thought, based on your comments you are right about the math not adding up. Something is very fishy about all this.
