How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Good morning tribe! We have arrived at weigh in day! We have officially lost over HALF A MILLION together this year and i'm so proud of each and every one of you! At the end of the day we are all winners no matter what a scale says by taking charge of the last 4 weeks and making healthier decisions! Never give up on yourself and be proud of yourself for trying because at the end of the day we can only fail if we give up! Thank you all for being part of this amazing community as it fill my heart with so much joy to see all the love and positivity here daily! Our tribe really is the best and I cant wait to see what we can continue to achieve this year! That being said a few things:
- You will have until Nov 13th at 11:59PM PST to weigh in! Any problems please email support@dietbet.com and they can reset your weigh in or answer any questions. You can also reset your weigh in if you make an error on a desktop computer.
- YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN A NUMBER. After failing last month I could have given up but chose to keep going and won our game this month! Ive lost 3 dietbets in 2 years but if i had quit it wouldn't have helped me to lose over 300lbs!! However I made healthier decisions the whole 4 weeks than I would have before- and that's what makes us a winner, not a number on the scale! To me we are all winners just by being here! Be proud of yourself and keep fighting my friends!

I did not meet my weigh in goal for the bet this time, but I still lost about 10 lbs this months. And that is in spite of many obstacles, including a week long trip to Italy, where I did not want to miss out on trying delicious foods and treats. I went into the trip with a completely different mind set, and focused on enjoyment, rather than how much I got to eat. Total game-changer. I'm very excited to play the next game, because even if I don't win the bet, if I keep losing weight and this helps me stay on track, it's totally worth it!

WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE FINAL WEEK OF OUR GAME AND ALREADY LOST OVER 33,000LBS! AMAZING! Tribe, i'm so proud of you and it brings so much happiness to my heart every single time I see all the love and support here. I love how active we all are and how the accountability has driven us to lose OVER HALF A MILLION POUNDS TOGETHER SO FAR IN 2018! Let's finish this last week strong! The holidays are right around the corner and TOGETHER we are in control! A few tips for the last week to finish strong!
- DIET IS KEY! Try to eat out less where you can, portion control, meal prep, eat more vegetables, track faithfully, eat less salt, and be honest with yourself about all the choices you make this last week!
- SWITCH UP YOUR ROUTINE - Add more weights, try a different form of cardio, eat more protein - you never know what could shock your body and make the scale move.
- WATER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND! Be sure to make sure you are drinking enough water to help boost your metabolism, flush your system, and keep yourself feeling full!
- MOVE MORE - skip television at night and go for a walk, do squats at your desk, take the stars instead of the elevator, park further at the grocery store - all these small changes and just moving can make a difference!
- NEVER GIVE UP! We are all winners by being here, but don't forget you can only fail IF YOU GIVE UP. I've lost multiple dietbets but if i had quit i never would have lost 312lbs. Our next game will start 11/19! dietbet.com/fatgirlfedup

Well this is another $30 lost with another db not won. this is my 4th straight loss. I’m now on day 34 not smoking and as of this morning I was about 400grams above my start weight. This last month my weight has been up and down all over the place. The fact that it has only been around 2.5 kg above my lowest is pretty bloody good considering the weight lots of ppl gain when they quit smoking. I’ve also been dealing with a dodgy ankle. My foot has been taped for the last 4 days now and the pain has finally gone. Yay. Now I need to get innersoles for my shoes so I don’t have to keep taping my foot. So I think with the nit smoking and my foot issues I’ve done well to only be a few hundred grams over my start weight. I’ll take that as a huge win.

  • Shopping and lunch with my mum today. We usually go to an Italian place where i inevitably get pasta. Today we found this new place with all healthy meals. Got a lamb salad with beetroot hummus. Was bloody awesome! Lamb is so super expensive so it isn’t something I eat often. Enjoyed every single mouthful of it.

Starting this month strong. Went for a bush walk after work again today with a work friend. Got Zumba ton. Food has been pretty on point. Water bloody good compared to what my intake has been. We had a client finish up at work and he gave the staff a ton of chocolates so I’ve had a few mini chocolates today. and that’s ok. Still going to be under my calories for the day. And I don’t believe in depriving myself. It’s all about moderation!
