How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

    Our challenge today is to step it up a bit and go for 11000 steps (or your tracker's goal plus 1000 - comment that number)  - you in?? Don't forget, tomorrow is our first giveaway - it's based on the challenges from the week - you won't know which ones until tomorrow so try to do as many as you can

    Don't forget this IS a DietBet so we need to stay true to our diets - plus, it's a lifestyle (not a start and end diet) so this should be our new norm. It's balance - it's not perfection - if you go off track it's OK you just get back on track. A slice of pizza (or in my case, 3....) won't derail you unless you let it. It's what happens AFTER you go off track that determines where you'll go. Because everyone indulges at some point (during the DietBet we'd like to keep those to a minimum) but people are still successful - super successful actually when they realize it's all part of the plan. As long as you go right back to your daily goals, you'll be fine. Don't let a treat meal turn in to a treat day or weekend or week! Just let it be what it is, no guilt, no worries, you'll be fine!

Goal for today is 6000 steps. I'll be cleaning a lot for thanksgiving & promised a pokemon walk with my son. So it shouldn't be tough to reach my goal today.

  • Haven't reached the 11,000 step goal yet but almost there and today is not over yet! But doing good on the eating. Trying to eat foods that will boost my metabolism! Keeping a food journal to help...i am open for any suggestions as I am at my plateau, and have been for awhile that is why I joined the dietbet to see if I can accomplish getting past this weight I am stuck at!!

  • Reached my 11,000 step challenge for today. It was hard cause there's so much snow outside but I got there on the end. It's been a good day food wise - even have enough calories for a little treat later!

  • Step challenge accepted and completed!! I met some friends at a park this morning for walking. Then taking public transportation today to get around got in more steps. I love days when I get in lots of steps and it doesn’t feel like work!
