How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Another update/ thought for everyone. How do you take your coffee - either at home or especially when out. It feels like every Starbucks combo I can think of is too many carbs ( especially for keto) 1 flat white with almond milk is like 7-9 net carbs! Sometimes you want to treat yourself but damn, 7-9/20 total is steep to give up!!! Any Starbucks hacks??

I also do black or just a small splash of cream. If you find the coffee bitter this way, try adding a bit of salt. Not enough to make it taste salty, just enough to cut the bitterness. It works amazingly well to kick the sugar/sweetener-in-coffee habit!

How is everyone planning to combat the setbacks from drinking around the holidays? I am not a big drinker at all, aside from holidays and friend functions I’m not one to just have a glass or two of wine etc... however it’s the holidays and I’m finding even light drinking - 1-3 glasses of champagne ( low carb) is setting me back in the scale. Even if it’s water weight it’s discouraging to lose the same couple pounds over and over again!! Any suggestions?

I’m going to have the occasional glass of Prosecco, dry red wine, and drink vodka soda with lime otherwise :). A good glass of wine only has 3 carbs - not bad!

I just won’t drink. I really like the Bubly flavoured soda waters, so I’ll have some of those. I’d rather have the scale continue to move than indulge in drinks! I plan on having a couple drinks on New Years when this DietBet is over :blush:

Meal plan for the week (dinners only)..
M: spinach and artichoke stuffed chicken and vegetables (salad most likely)
T: taco salad
W: chicken Alfredo (no noodles, just chicken and Alfredo sauce) and broccoli
T: Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers
F: raclette (cheese, meat, veggies - no potatoes!)

The foods i eat the most are eggs chicken celery with peanutbutter protein shake with Avacado mashed cauliflower zucchini noodles shrimp steak. I like putting mayo on everything :grin: The weight keeps coming off so im sticking with it!

Oh that’s the worst!! I highly recommend making your own stash of Keto treats to hide in your desk so you won’t feel too tempted! Stay strong!! :muscle:

I have totally been slacking. A sick baby and a super active toddler paired with my own cold and sinus infection have left me being lazy. Just did groceries though and plan to be on track as of tomorrow am. Going to start with an 18/6 fast. My goal is to be 135 by the new year and then to lose the last 10 by the Spring.
