How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Tip: Share your weight loss goals with your family and friends!

When only you know about your weight-loss goal, it's easy to let yourself get away with not meeting it. However, when you make it public, you'll feel more responsibility to meet your goal. Tell your family the specifics of your goal, such as how much weight you plan to lose by a certain date, or how many times per week you plan to exercise. Post your goal to your social networking website of choice or keep a blog. Post pictures and share your success with friends and family members.

  • How is the water challenging going for you? Is the bathroom calling your name? Some of you may already have a water drinking goal! How many oz. a day are you shooting for?

Just some thoughts: Water can help you with weight loss efforts. First staying hydrated can help prevent overeating. And of course, drinking water also means you're not drinking something else-such as sugary, caloric beverages. This one is awesome, drinking water can also increase the amount if calories you burn. So how do you make sure you're getting enough water a day?

Running to the bathroom soooooooo much! I bought myself a hydro flask from
Costco this week and I think the brightly colored new water bottle is helping me remember to drink

I found first thing in the morning is when I can drink a lot of water.

Note to self - Do not wait until bedtime to get your water for the day in... Unless you like waking up multiple times during the night and not getting much sleep.

Loving the water challenge! Over the weekend it was clear (or not clear 😉) that I was a little on the dehydrated side and in need of water. So 64oz was a breeze for me yesterday but today I am having to push myself to take a sip of water. Trying to focus on just drinking water for my 64oz and not counting tea and coffee, so bathroom runs are quite frequent.

Wow! I didn't count tea. No wonder I feel so full.

Good on the water! Spent half the day running to the bathroom! I guess that's an unintended positive of drinking more water, more steps because of more bathroom breaks

I'm really struggling to stay away from the scales right now. It's so tempting to just hop on to check my progress but I know from past experience that if I weigh more than once a week I use minor victories as an excuse to go off the rails a little. I haven't weighed again so far. I am holding off until Saturday.
