For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

We did lots of planks today in my abs class and then in TRX we did multiple 1 min planks. I’m sore and tired lol

Hey guys! Welcome to my dietbet! I am looking forward to all of us starting this year strong and the support. With that being said I wanted to go over a few things to start our game off the right way.
-My name is Danny and I have lost 95lbs with diet and exercise. I didn't follow a certain meal plan but I did a combination of weight lifting and cardio while watching my nutrition. I pay attention to portion control, eating less carbs, and I try to eat more protein and vegetables. I look forward to sharing with you the foods I eat, different workouts, and challenges for us to complete together.
-Some things that have worked for me to lose my weight is to always make sure I am drinking enough water and well hydrated. I also like to take the foods that i'm craving and make healthier versions. If I am super hungry I like to have high volume meals such as a big salad and I use less dressing and healthier toppings. I also have found that I enjoy going to the gym and lifting weights. I also add in cardio and I set goals for myself. Find a workout that you enjoy and start setting small goals such as 30 minutes of cardio 4-5x a week. Any type of movement and being more active will help you.
-Reward yourself for your hard work, but learn to change your mentally with food. Food doesn't have to be the reward and once we change our mindset we can change our life. Diet is most important!

I’ve been pulling double sessions at the gym this week. Cardio in the morning, weights at night😅 tiring but as they say you never regret a workout and I know all the effort and time will pay off in the long run.

Also did the chacha slide plank challenge today as a different way of doing Danny’s plank challenge. So tough but so good haha has anyone else tried it before 💪👍😁

Wooohoooo!! I lost 1,4 kg since start already and that 1,1 kg this week alone! 😍😍 thought I wasn’t doing that good but I am!
Time to step it up a bit and keep moving forward!!

Today's activity:
Breakfast: egg whites and turkey bacon (pretty much my go-to
Snack: I was bad and split a large popcorn with the hubby at the movies (gasp)
Lunch: chicken salad, string cheese and SF pudding cup
Dinner: Garden salad with Italian dressing
Activity: Sitting on my butt 😂

I showed up for myself today. I went to the gym. Prepped and tracked the calories in my meals for the day. A win for consistency. Can’t wait till I hit my goal in a months time!

  • Super pumped about the electric zoodle maker my hubby just bought me!! Raw carrot zoodles with a raw homemade avocado "dressing". This took 15min to make enough for our family of 6 and we are all full!
