How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Hi Everyone! My name is Liz, I’m 39, married and have 2 kids. I’ve battled weight gain since I was in my 20’s and put on the pounds in college. I got it under control and was very fit and active up until an injury a couple years ago. I found myself 40lbs heavier and about to turn 40. For awhile I was depressed and unmotivated but that changed and I got into action and lost 10lbs.

Im looking for accountability and support and heard of DietBet and signed up. This is my first challenge and I’m really excited to be a part of it and cheer everyone on to their goals!

good luck, liz! you can do it!!

i'm ryan from canada. this is also my first challenge. a year ago, i took a month-long trip to the philippines, and i loved the food so much that i gained 14 pounds on that one trip! i worked hard to lose the weight before my wedding last september. although i'm now below my pre-trip weight, i think i'm about 4% from my ideal weight, so this kickstarter is perfect for me.

my strategy is to eat plant-based whole foods and to do high intensity interval training.

anyways, i hope you have fun with this challenge!!

Hi Liz! My first game was a year ago. DietBet has been very helpful and has been motivating me and I am sure you will enjoy the journey including ups and downs ...! I am almost 50 and it has been harder to lose weight as compar d to in my early 40s but slowly and steadily I hope to get to my goal and most importantly maintain my strength deal weight without being too rigid! All the best.
