How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I'm really excited about how small this group is! I think it will be nice to actually interact with each of you rather than just being one person in a pool of hundreds or thousands of other players. I don't even mind if the payout is lower, the motivation is worth so much more!

I've tried counting calories, keto, a ww-type tracking of what I eat. All have been successful, while I'm dedicated to it. But I find myself slacking off in the summer and around the holidays. I end up in a cycle of,"diet starts next week" but sometimes it's months before I find my motivation again.

Ah, the D-word. We have sort of a swear jar at Overeater when people use the word "diet" as a verb. Do you find you are restricting your diet (noun) when you are using these plans? We follow the guideline of 80/20. Eighty percent of our diet is whole food nutrition and twenty percent is less nutritious foods. This really helps with the mental game of living a healthy lifestyle.
