How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi everyone! If you weren't sure, you can start weighing in now! You have until day 14 of the game to weigh in (I believe December 8), but you don't get extra time if you wait that long, fair warning! If you have any questions, please email us at support@waybetter.com and we will be happy to help!

I will also try to keep track on here to see if anyone has a question that I can answer faster :)

So, first week officially starts tomorrow - is anyone meal prepping? Any workout plans? What's everyone's Thanksgiving strategy, if you're from the US?

This game can be as engaging as you'd like it to be - I'll be posting a lot, and we've found the more engaged a player is, the more successful they tend to be, so comment! Post! Share! Ask!

And drink some water ;-)

There's a joke about buying a large pizza and splitting it up into 7 daily containers in here, somewhere. Meal prepping has never been one of my strong points - my go-to is when I cook I cook double and then have the rest to eat on for lunches for a day or two. It works really well with family packs of pork chops or chicken breasts - soup is a good one, too. Looking forward to hearing if anyone else has tips!
