Hi, I’m Mel. I live in North Carolina. I’ve been on a weight loss quest for far too long, and I’ve made little progress. I’m down 25 pounds though, so it’s a start. My goal is to lose another 130 pounds, and I’d love to lose 60 of that by the end of this year. I know I can do it (physically) but mentally will be the bigger challenge. What I need most is consistency and accountability, which DietBet does a decent job of providing. I’ve noticed that even though I’ve won plenty of $ on DietBet (I’ve been on here since 2016), I’ve managed to GAIN 19% of my body weight from when I first started. I’m currently in 4 bets. I feel like it helps me break my goal into reasonable chunks.
