Has anyone got any advice on how to get over gym anxiety I end up hiding in the corner every time I go in 🙈

thats a hard one. good question. My trainer had me do an exercise in the middle of the gym that I would never have done by myself.

What helped me with my new gym (well, been there 2 years now) is getting with instructor right away to set up program with certain weight machines. I just concentrated on going to those and workout and not thinking about anything else. Next I attended an exercise class, and was delighted to see although there were some that was physically fit, most of the participants were just like me, struggled with a lot of it, but knew whatever I did, it was burning calories. After attending few more times, I was improving and feeling more comfortable.
Trust me I understand the anxiety, but it WILL get better if you push yourself to do it!! Let us know how it goes! We are here to cheer you on!
