How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

My parents didn’t push it as a child but somewhere along the line I became someone who always finishes their plate. Every bite. Every crumb. While loosing almost 80lbs I learned to serve myself better portions but still would finish my plate even if it meant eating past fullness.
Yesterday was worthy of a happy dance. At lunch I chose to honor fullness and I left 2 bites of food on my plate. My 6yo even noticed. He said, “Wow mom. You always finish your plate.” I told him that I was full and that I wanted to listen to my body. I’ve always tried to teach my boys that but I never led by example. It ended up turning into a little Bible lesson.
I’ve been working my way through a course that’s all about how our disregulated nervous systems affect our ability to eat the way we were created to eat. Being in this dietbet doesn’t necessarily fit with the course but I really appreciate being around people who care about what they put into their bodies and who understand what it’s like to carry extra weight.
I’ve not posted at all this time around until now but I’m grateful for those of you who have shared your wins, meals, and inspiration!

That's awesome. I still haven't mastered that. I was taught to eat everything and don't waste food and I am focusing on buying less food and meal prepping to try to break the habit
