How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Is anyone a member here? I feel like $76/years is kinda of alot is it worth it.

My membership renewed back in October at $50. Has it really gone up that much since then??

  • Regardless, to me, it’s worth it, but it depends on what motivates you. I’ve used DietBet for going on 10 years. Monetarily, I’ve probably lost more than I’ve won. But check out this pic of my profile, and I think the results are priceless. I reached my highest weight of 303 lbs a few years ago. And today, I’m 10 lbs away from my goal weight of 150 lbs. The membership fee works out to be single-digit-dollars per month, and it allows me to play up to 9 (I think) games at once. I’m nearing goal weight, so Kickstart and Transformer games are no longer realistic bets for me. So I’m limited to 3 maintenance games simultaneously. And yet, to me, the membership fee is still worth it. DietBet helped give me my life back, and so I feel like continued membership is a tiny way to give back and stay connected to my “Why.”
