How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I don't mean to come off as a curmudgeon because we all did something that was really valuable to our health and that's all that matters ultimately. However, $15 is less than I spent on healthy food on a per day break down to make this goal -- so I'm a bit disappointed.

But again, we all did a great thing for ourselves and if the worst thing that happened was we made $15 then we are having a great day.

It's a small incentive, more about accountability than anything (so I feel). I don't think its supposed to pay for itself, so to say....

Not solely to win money. No. but in my mind I did think that sacrificing cooking time for workout time and buying the healthy meals would at least even out.

But again I am happy for everyone including myself that we made changes for ourselves and it is something that I see and feel in a really great way. But moving forward I will be making the time to cook.
