Soā€¦ hit my round 1 goal a week ago, was surprised at the rate of weight lossā€¦ and now Iā€™m up 2 pounds? Sighhh. Frustrating. I guess the most important thing is to not be discouraged, since Iā€™ve been following my diet/plan itā€™s likely related to water retention as opposed to actual weight gain (re: fat)ā€¦ but still. Itā€™s kind of disheartening :(

Great job sticking to your plan. Donā€™t worry about the numbers, especially this early. Itā€™s a long term journey. There will be ups and downs. Keep doing the right thing and youā€™ll get where you want to be.

I hear ya @Tash! Same thing happened to me. At times like this I try to remind myself that the numbers on the scale are just information. We are the ones who attach meaning and emotions to the number. Donā€™t make it ā€œmean somethingā€ Like Iā€™m failing, Iā€™m frustratedā€¦I try to ask myself, ā€œwhat is this information telling me?ā€ ie I need to switch up what Iā€™m consuming, get more sleep, drink more water or exercise more.
