Heidi, try reversing your meals. Biggest meal for breakfast and smallest for dinner (like a smoothie). :heart:

I’m 60% of the way. Frustrated because I’ve been exercising, drinking tons of electrolyte water, hitting protein goal and in a caloric deficit every single day. Not sure what else to do. I guess I just lose so slowly.

I don't eat processed food and I don't drink alcohol, soda,eat bread, and have pasta once a month.

  • I am trying to get better about my fasting hours. When I lost weight initially, I began eating around 9am, and stopped around 7pm. For the last couple of years though, I started breaking my fast around 11:30 or 1pm which leaves me hungrier at night. It’s definitely been more difficult controlling my over eating tendencies and snacking.
    A friend suggested that I go back to my 3 small meals, and 2 snacks way of eating— between 9am and 7pm to see if that helps my body release some of its hyper-stressed state.
    I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
    I’m off to a poor start so far. I didn’t break my fast until after noon today. 😅 But at least it was with nutrient dense foods!

I do that too. I end my eating at 6-7pm and don't eat again until almost 12-1. I am trying to eat breakfast too.

  • Todays lunch. Checking in. How is day 1 going for everyone? I started the day with a banana and almonds because we’ve been on the go (still in SD). I had a beef stick for a snack and finally at 3:45 we are just sitting down to eat lunch so I’m doing a bigger meal— combo lunch/dinner.
    These are organic non-gmo, corn tortillas. One is a veggie taco, one is shrimp, and the other chicken. I had a skinny marg as well.
    Tomorrow I’ll get back to cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This weekend has been a nice reprieve. I hope everyone’s day 1 is going well! How can I help you?

I'm a all ot nothing person. I know it does not work. But when I'm eating healthier and working out everything is great. But if I don't do one or the other, my mind tells me this is not going to work and then I self sabotage myself. Ugh. Trying to just take 1 day at a time.
