Last night we had Chinese food from our favorite restaurant to celebrate a family birthday, so I planned for it and was hoping for a maintenance day. I didn't maintain, I lost 0.6! I stuck to my plan all day, ate a veggie and protein bar in the late afternoon so I wouldn't be hungry when I arrived at dinner, filled half my plate with homemade cauliflower "fried" rice, had a little of the beef with broccoli, a little of the chicken chow fun, two steamed potstickers, and an eggroll for dessert. I skipped the cake, and had 30 oz of water when I got home. I am so proud of myself.

Made Veggie Wonder Soup for the week and it is my go-to meal for Lunch and Dinner, with a salad and a V8. I love the soup but i can't wait til this week is over, lol! I tried to upload the photo but I guess the photo function is down today.

Remind yourself you need emotional healing, not emotional eating. If there are tempting foods, get them out of sight out of mind. Know yourself, dont test yourself. :heart:

Here is just a little something to get you over the week and to start you off right. In my book "You Can Drop It!" I talk about setting up your Environment for success. The goal is to get your space set up so it's extremely inconvenient to gain weight, and extremely convenient to lose weight. For example, ask your spouse or housemates to keep their junk foods and tempting snacks in an opaque container on a very high shelf, and cut up some fresh fruits and veggies so they are the first thing you see in the refrigerator. Use the rest of the week and weekend to set yourself up for success, go and buy what you need- Veggies, lean proteins, waters, etc and comment in this post and let me know what you did and how you did it.   • Good Morning! Happy Tuesday everyone. I am a shake for breakfast kind of gal! Shakeology became too expensive for me every month. I switched to a plant-based protein from Costco that I am loving! I added a banana, baby spinach, water and blended it up! Cheers to an awesome day, friends.

I am a shake for breakfast kind of girl too. I found Shakeology too expensive and now use Vega Essentials plant based powder. I love the chocolate & get it off Amazon on auto ship.

  • I get the Orgain Organic protein powder! You can also find this on Amazon as well. So far I have had the chocolate and vanilla flavors. I really like them both! My husband loves the chocolate flavor. He didn't even like shake-o when I was buying that, but this he loves.

Just weighed myself for the first time in over 2 years for the weigh-in and NGL it’s not as bad a I thought it was going to be. I was TERRIFIED to weigh myself. (It’s been a rough couple of years.).

Unless my scale is broken of course. Lol.

The scale is a source of information, not judgment. When you start to think of it like that, it becomes your friend.
