So sorry for the loss of your Cooper -- my wife and I struggled through something similar, so I have a sense for your loss / grief. In my experience, this loss is not something that you ever "get over", but the loss does change over time.

And not to try to force a silver lining, but it sounds like the whole EB / asinine reaction / Cooper fiasco left you better off over all -- you've kicked to the curb a guy who'dve never met your needs, and moved past a neighbor's insensitive choice. Now if only Bernie and Cooper can become buds!

Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for your loss, and how the whole situation played out. Yes, you never forget…time doesn’t heal all wounds, you just learn to cope better.

Good job on planning ahead. I always eat unhealthy with stress. It's a hard one to over come.

Kelsey D.

I can also relate to the work issues. Kudos to you for planning ahead and not allowing yourself to continue to make excuses.

I am so happy to see a name put to the feeling I have. Mouth hunger. It is absolutely killing me this week. I have so much stress and disorder in my life right now that all I want to do is eat. And eat. And eat. And then I feel absolutely disgusted with myself. Both physically and mentally. I will find my willpower. I will find it.

Susie D.

Me too! 'Mouth Hunger' - I can totally relate! I love routine too. Good job getting back into your routine and great job with the m&m's!

Great way to put it! I look at my ultimate goal and it can seem overwhelming. Focusing on losing 5 lbs to my mini-goal seems much more manageable. Thank you for the reminder that it is about baby steps!

Great tips. I like the one about taking the selfies after workouts.
